The Areté Co-operative Society was founded in 2011 in Potenza and consists of three members –Rocco Mitro ,Giuseppe Guerra and Giuseppe Garofalo. Areté is involved in various activities in the field of archaeology, the restoration of monuments and, in general terms, the promotion and enhancement of the cultural and landscape heritage. The members, specialists with many years of experience in the field of cultural heritage, have collaborated with research institutes, universities, and national and international public bodies working in the field of archaeology.Areté is involved in collaborations with professionals who are expert in the fields of conservation and restoration, architecture, three-dimensional modelling, geophysical surveying and tourism.
